I can’t say enough good things about this house. Jon and Laura thought of everything. There are inside games, outside games, and a great media room. The house had everything we needed, and the neighborhood in the yard was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

The home was spotless, updated and comfortable. The game room was a hit with the kids. The restaurant at the country club had amazing food. We ate there every day. The neighborhood was private, yet close to everything. We will be back.

Highly recommend Jon and Laura’s place!! Their home is beautiful, and they are very responsive, kind, and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. Jon and Laura carefully and thoughtfully put together the perfect getaway, complete with a massage chair, game room/ movie theater experience, board games, outdoor gas fire pit, and outdoor games. They even had a football in the shed that my husband and son played with, which they hadn’t done in a long time. It was the perfect home base for us to visit Savannah from, and they’re also close to other places of interest. They also have a gaming console hooked up to the huge TV in the game room which was a big hit, along with the foosball table and dart board. We would definitely like to return and have never been to a place so thoughtfully put together with rest, relaxation, and fun in mind. There’s something for everybody, and it’s definitely five stars all the way around!

We had a quick last minute stay for my friends birthday. They were very responsive and accommodating despite how last minute we requested to book. Awesome hosts, great location, gorgeous place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay it was very peaceful, we would stay again if ever in the area.

This Airbnb felt like a true home away from home. It was so cozy, beautifully decorated, and everything was spotless. The hosts thought of everything—from a fully stocked coffee bar to laundry detergent, which we really appreciated. Our family LOVED the game room and theater room. We played Mario Kart on the Switch. We also had Connect 4, shuffleboard, and dart competitions, and even enjoyed classic games like Jenga and Scattergories. We made so many fun memories during our stay. The location was amazing—close to Starbucks, Kroger, and perfect for grocery delivery from Walmart. It was also an easy drive to Savannah’s historic district, where we rode the trolley, explored the beautiful old homes, walked along the river, and ate delicious food. Wormsloe Historic Site and the Christmas light drive-through were nearby too. We couldn’t have picked a better place for family time and relaxation. Truly an excellent stay! And the fire pit outside was a bonus too!

We loved our stay at Southern Oaks Retreat! The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The TV's were crazy big, the game room was a blast, and the putting green was a fun bonus. The beds were really comfortable and you can tell the hosts put a lot of care into every detail. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back!!

We loved staying at this location. The beaches were easy to drive to with shopping near by. We also had lots of fun at the house playing putt-putt, games in the game room and it is right on the golf course. We will definitely go back. Thanks Jon and Laura for an awesome mini vacation.
